Christmas 2016 came and went very quickly. Because of work commitments Claudette could only take a few days off and we flew down to East London for a few days over Christmas.
Connor experienced 4 forms of transport on route to the destination (car/bus/train/plane) and was very excited. Christopher and Denise drove down from Kimberley to join us. Connor really enjoyed the beach. Every time we told him that we are going to the beach, he got very excited.
The highlight was going on a sea cruise and seeing hundreds of dolphins (some swimming and jumping right next to the yacht. Other things that we did while we were there was organising a charity Christmas lunch at an old age home, went to a beer tasting session at a local brewery in Chintsa, visited various beaches (Nahoon, Kidds beach, Chintsa, Morgan Bay), drove indoor go karts and ofcourse the family get together's.
Father Christmas visited the house on Christmas eve much to the delight of the kids while we all enjoyed a festive braai.
All in all it was a great break but was over too quickly.
