Grandpa comes to visit

Grandpa made a spur of the moment decision to come visit for a few days. Because grandpa couldn't make it to Connor's 2nd birthday in October, he decided to fly to Gauteng for a few days.

We thought it would take a while for Connor to warm up, but immediately he gave grandpa a high 5. The time was short but the two managed to spend some good quality time together.

While he was here, we took Connor to the park, to Willow Feather farm, to the go-kart track, some kiddy play areas, and even did a 5km fun run.

Aunty Pheobe also stayed over a night while we had a nice braai. On the Friday morning my dad and I also went on a short scenic flight over Johannesburg including the Kyalami race track. What an experience. Another good few days, but over too quickly!
