Moving House (June 2014)

Two weeks after getting back from Mauritius, we were moving house. Mauritius seemed like a distant memory.

Because of the robbery earlier in the year, we didn't feel safe or comfortable living in a house anymore. Also we had been planning on renovating the house, and with the news of a baby coming soon we felt we couldn't be building and organizing baby stuff all at the same time together with the vulnerability of builders in and out of your yard especially after February's experience.

We had started looking at other options and decided to move to a complex within a security estate. The townhouse had an extra room and the yard was more or less the same size as the current house. We ended up moving during June and still had time to prepare one room for the arrival of baby Schwartz.
